1. Buy a bag that's right for you.
Find a reasonable sized bag that is big enough to fit all your books into. You don't want to have to carry your stuff around all day. Decide what kind of bag you want. Side backpack? Normal backpack?Whatever works for you!
2. Make a list of all the supplies you need for school or follow the school's supply list.
Pencil case, pens, pencils, planner, notebook/diary, calculator, or anything reasonable that you might need.
3. Get your own pencil case.
You may want one that fits in a binder or maybe a pencil box. Again, whatever works for you. There are different colours and styles, too. Here are some things you might want to put in it:
- Pencils
- Pencil Sharpener
- Highlighters
- Handwriting Pens
- Paper Clips
- Whiteboard Pen
- Sticky tape
- Ruler
4. Add Accessories.
Perfect your school bag by adding bits and bobs also known as accessories. You could add:
- Hairbrush
- Hair Grips
- Hair Bobbles
- Keys (only if allowed)
- Purse (only if allowed)
- Glasses
Now you have fully packed your bag. Here are some tips to keep it fresh and clean.
Every weekend or so, empty out your bag and organize everything in it, taking out any things you might not need or adding things you thought you didn't need and now you need to bring them to school.
- Don't put any unnecessary items in your bag, it'll only add extra weight.
- Put any important papers in a plastic folder/wallet so they wont get ripped and crumpled in your bag.
- Keep your personal items hidden in a so they can't be seen by passers by.
